Health Policy - September 1, 2021

Hudsonville Robotics continues to align our policies with the Hudsonville Public Schools and the Ottawa County Heath Department. As of September 1, 2021 we will continue operation taking attendance without any additional health screening.

We will have a mask requirement for any student in our IQ program (4th - 6th grade), and any attendee that is working with IQ students.

Tuesdays at the center are dedicated to Vex IQ students during the fall season. We will host our IQ practices and league nights on Tuesday to reduce mixing age groups.

Students will be provided an isolated classroom if they are working at the center on a non-dedicated night. Ex: VRC teams attending on Tuesday or IQ teams attending other than Tuesday.

This policy may change at any time and we will keep our members updated if there are changes.

  • Participants that do not feel well should stay home.
  • All participants in the IQ program, grade 6 and younger, must wear an approved facial covering at all times when in the Robotics Center area. Students may take their mask off if they are outside of the area and socially distant.
  • Any person working with IQ program students must wear an approved facial covering at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies are available at the center.
